The article analyzes the project amendments of the existing Federal Law "On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)", as well as the regulations of the draft Law "On rehabilitation procedures applicable to debtor citizens", which will come into force in 2015. The author cites the data of Internet survey concerning the bankruptcy of individuals. The author believes that individuals can be recognized as bankrupts in Russia due to the fact that many citizens of the Russian Federation for several years are insolvent debtors for various reasons.
