Basic parameters of media discourse of terrorism (based on the English language)

The article deals with the peculiarities of the linguistic actualization of the media discourse of terrorism as the kind of the thematic communication. Its coordinates are defined in the correlation with the concepts “discourse”, “narrative” and “text”. The complex of the pragmatic and linguistic approach and the discursive approach allows to make a model of ten dominants of the semantic and pragmatic of the carcass of the media discourse of terrorism and to define the basic principles of its communicative functioning.
