Walking a tightrope and running in the physical education of Chechens’ children

On the basis of ethnographic materials, the article attempts to show the value of running and other exercises in the system of physical education. The author considers the traditions of physical education of children in the Chechen culture. The description of events based on the recollections of old residents of Chechnya is given. The paper concludes the significance and the extent of scientific coverage of the experience of Chechens in physical and moral education of youth.
