The estimating results of efficiency of using the directional transport of autologous erythrocytes for targeted delivery of ascorbic acid at doses of 25, 50, 100 mg/kg to the liver in order to repair protein structure of blood after hemorrhage are presented. The liver is the centre of protein metabolism. There are two main opposing factors in case of hemorrhage: hypoxia, inhibiting the synthesis of protein in the liver, and loss of protein that stimulates this process. Therefore, in order to correct the functional state of the liver in case of hemorrhage it is necessary to use substances that prevent the development of hypoxia in the organ, as well as accelerate the normalization of the functions of hepatocytes during the posthypoxic period. We have chosen ascorbic acid in the capacity of this substance. It has been shown that the most effective of the used doses is 100 mg/kg, as when using it total protein content increased by raising the percentage of both albumin and β-globulin in blood serum.
