Ownerless real estate as a threat to public safety at the territory of the municipality

The article examines the problems associated with ownerless real estate, in particular, the emergence of municipal property rights to it. The examples of specific court decisions and publications in the media demonstrate the existence of a real threat to public safety in the current practice of the obligation of municipal entities to take ownership of immovable property. To solve these problems, the author proposes to adjust the strict legal norms for the ownership of ownerless real estate in the ownership of municipalities.
