The main trend in the development of the transport sector and systems is the development of containerization based on the use of digital technologies. In this regard, there are systemic problems in the operation of transport and logistics systems (TLS) in the conditions of intermodal transportation. TLS have acquired a decisive strategic importance for ensuring competitiveness and a new level of development in the field of containerization of goods using logistics approaches and management tools. Seamless freight logistics is a strategic goal of the transport industry. In the context of a radical technological transformation of TLS based on information and communication technologies (ICT), the problem of compatibility and interaction of not only software and hardware, but also basic models arise, in connection with which the concept of interoperability of systems of various sizes and intellectual mobility of processes acquires special significance. A powerful tool for ensuring ICT transparency is the use of open systems principles and an architectural approach. The enterprise architecture, as a basic element of the supply chain link, describes the current and target structure of the enterprise and the processes taking place in it. Thus, a systematic approach is implemented in relation to the activities of the entire organization, and the integration of the business model and the IT system, which until now have been considered as separate subsystems, is ensured. Interoperability and intelligent mobility are seen as effective tools to ensure "seamlessness"in terms of creating a single information space. To solve these problems in the TLS, it is necessary to introduce unified information technology solutions. The ultimate goal of a comprehensive strategy that includes the characteristics of mobility and interoperability is to create systemic organizational and technical mechanisms and digital tools that provide a risk-based approach in a rapidly changing market environment. The approach based on systems engineering covers the entire life cycle and processes of the system, determines the logic of construction and evaluation of the effectiveness of its functioning.
