Security of border areas in Russian-Chinese relations at the present stage

This article is devoted to the problems of national security of Russia and China in the regions adjacent to the common border of the two states. The author comprehensively analyzes the traditional (military) and non-traditional (non-military) security threats faced by the border areas of the two states today. At the same time, this material not only states the problem field, and the presence of certain threats, but also attempts to trace the existing opportunities and prospects for their minimization in the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
