Determining itscapabilities in treating larger kidney stones is of special interest. Studying the effect of mini-PNL on renal function will supplement the safety information of the method and may change the standard indications for its use. Materials and methods. Mini-PNL was performed in 62 patients with multiple, large single kidney stones and staghorn stones. e dynamics of creatinine, cystatin C, C-reactive protein, lipocalin associated with neutrophil gelatinase (NGAL) and interleukin-18 in the early postoperative period was studied. Non-parametric statistics were used for statistical processing of results (Statistica 10.2; StatSo Inc., USA).
