Unemployment as a socially significant problem in Russia

The article considers unemployment as one of the major challenges of the modern Russian society. The authors assess the real unemployment, and conclude that for the resolution of the problem it is required to evaluate precisely its extent using official statistics and results of sociological research. The realistic assessment of unemployment will allow to elaborate management decisions on implementation of the efficient employment policy in Russia.
