This article is devoted to the problem of a macroeconomic nature-unemployment in Russia during the coronavirus pandemic. The paper pays special attention to the impact of the introduction of quarantine and self-isolation on the employment of the population, as well as the forced measures that employers had to take to keep their own companies in a working state. The national plan for the restoration of the Russian economy is described. The article provides an analysis of unemployment during the CAVID crisis of 2020, and also examines other problems that the Russian labor market had to face, including the re-introduction of the self-isolation regime. Thus, it is necessary to rethink the prospects of a particular industry, restore production to its original state, thereby providing the population with full employment, preventing a decline in living standards, avoiding social disasters and returning the economy of our state to the "old life".
