Bibliographic hackathon as a tool for training library staff

The article is devoted to the improvement of pedagogical methods used in library and information education. The emphasis is placed on the hackathon and the possibilities of its application in the formation of professional competencies of librarians, in particular, readiness for modeling the subject area, a comprehensive comparative analysis of needs and documentary flow, and entry into new issues. The author's methodology for preparing and conducting a bibliographic hackathon in the field of "Library and information activities" is presented.
