Bilingualism as a form of linguocultural immigrant adaptation in Germany

The article presents types of bilingualism typical for two immigrant groups in Germany: the Turks and the migrants from the former USSR. The peculiarities of German-Turkish and German-Russian bilingualism are described, language interference elements are analyzed, the connection between bilingualism and the level of linguocultural adaptation is shown.
