A bioinformatic analysis of the missense mutation 1595C> G (Ser447Stop) of the lipoprotein lipase (LPL) gene was performed. The analysis showed that the mutant alleles of the LPL gene lead to conformational changes in the protein domains and this changes their physicochemical properties. In the course of the work, spatial models of proteins were constructed.
