Complex application of methods of reclamation of the reservoir, contributing to the development of natural forage base, increasing fish productivity through the use of organic fertilizers, improved timing of growing aquaculture taking into account the climatic conditions of the farming zone contributes to the achievement of the scientifically proven results of commercial fisheries. Natural production potential of the unique biological resources of the Astrakhan region, as well as favorable macroeconomic conditions, to create conditions for stable development of this direction. One of the leading sectors of aquaculture in the Astrakhan region is fish farms. Stocking of ponds, especially in the Volga river Delta, the high reproductive capability of fish, their rapid growth at small feed costs, availability of breeding stock allows you to establish a profitable doing aquabusiness using methods of organic aquaculture. The results of investigations of technology development of marketable aquaculture using the methods of organic agriculture in the conditions of Astrakhan region are given in present article. They include the combined cultivation of fish (Romanian carp - “frizinet”, herbivorous fish, and clariid catfish) with corps (melon cultures). The introduction of this technology that does not require additional costs of fertilizers, purchase of artificial feed, organic fertilizers, residues of vegetative shoots melons, mowed material, additional to the natural forage base of the ponds feed additives in fruit melons (watermelon, cantaloupe), grains of barley and wheat, the fruits of mulberry trees growing on the dikes of ponds, bakery waste, increased productivity in several times (in the cultivation of carp and herbivorous fish to 1200 kg/ha), and to obtain additional products in excess of 500 kg/ha clariid catfish, a new, promising object for the southern regions of Russia.
