One of the ways to preserve the livestock and get high productivity from it is the use of special-purpose and targeted components in feeding. These include protected fats for enriching the diet with energy, increasing productivity and reproduction of cows. The main objects of the study were Black-and-White cows of the dairy direction of productivity. The subject of the study was the biological characteristics of cows and the dynamics of their variability after the introduction of protected fats into the diet. The aim of the work was to determine the effectiveness of the use of drugs "Megalac" and "Nutrakor" on Black-and-White dairy cows in the economy of the Oryol region. In accordance with the goal, the following tasks were set: to determine the effect of the tested additives on milk productivity; compare the reproductive abilities of cows; to study morphological and biochemical parameters of blood.
