This article is devoted to biological study of sodium mono-rhodandodecaborate (BSCN) - novel boron carrier at anticancer neutron capture therapy. Investigation was carried out in C57Bl/6 male mice after inoculation with B-16 melanoma cells. It was proved that toxicity of BSCN was low and the biodistribution study indicated that BSCN located in neoplastic tissue at concentrations that were appropriate for BNCT. Our data allowed to propose that BSCN will outperform sodium mono-mercaptoundecahydrododecaborate (BSH) currently applied in clinical practice
