While analyzing the force situation which takes place in the knee femur is considered by us as a two-support beam. The supports are represented by the central points of the zones of femoral condyle contact with the articular surface of tibia. The analysis of force equilibrium patterns has demonstrated that in the one-support and two-support periods of joint loading for the knee varus R1force (the compression force of femoral medial condyle) exceeds R2 force (the force, which opposes the lateral knee tension) considerably. After the deformity correction in the two-support period of loading R1 and R2 forces coincide in direction and value thereby maintaining the condition of equilibrium in the joint. However, in the one-support period R1 force exceeds R2 force considerably. Performing deformity angle hypercorrection allows to restore the equilibrium of the myoligamentous apparatus forces and reduce the degree of deformity in case of its recurrences.
