Biomorphological features of Dianthus pinifolius Sibth. et Sm. from the southeast of Ukraine

We report the results of studying of the biomorphological features of Dianthus pinifolius Sibth. et. Sm. in the Donetsk Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Introduced D. pinifolius completes the entire development cycle. This is a good sign of positive adaptation to the Region. Seed propagation and stem-cutting proved to be the most effective methods for D. pinifolius reproduction. Well adapted to the Southeast of Ukraine, this species is suggested for the use in the greenery of the Region.
