The aim of the study was to examine the structure of the microflora of farm and domestic animals, including the analysis of the ability of microorganisms to form bacterial biofilms. In the course of the study, it was found that the microflora of farm and domestic animals has the ability to form bacterial biofilms. Among the various types of microorganisms, representatives of the genera Staphylococcus (29.45 %), Escherichia (22.33 %) and Proteus (22.33 %) predominate. A comprehensive study of the biofilm-forming ability of microorganisms of the genus Staphylococcus showed that 85 out of 90 studied strains have this ability. 83.52 % of the strains formed rough black colonies on the agar surface, indicating their biofilm activity. The data obtained highlight the importance of understanding the processes of biofilm formation for the development of effective measures to protect animals from infections and improve agricultural practices.
