"Kemkor" and "Perikor" bioprostheses for surgical correction of tricuspidal valve disease

The immediate and long-term results of implantation of «KemCor» and «PeriCor» diepoxy-treated biopro-stheses into a tricuspid position in 169 patients are given. The risks of unsatisfactory results and structure of complications in early postoperative and long-term periods are considered. Also analyzed is the risk of a dysfunction of the tricuspidal bioprosthesis in disadvantaged patients over the long-term period. It is shown that epoxy-treated xenovalves may be implanted in a tricuspid position when treating destructive forms of infective endocarditis and that the results of implantation depend on the degree of infection process activity and the volume of damaged endocardial structures.
