The article is dedicated to one of the most mysterious poets of the XX century - Ari Rafailovich Lane, as well as to his collection “Beads of Japan”, where the poet creates a poetic “portrait” of a distant and alien country, and which is an attempt to perceive the secret of “the other” on the basis of the category “one’s self”.
