Building business ecosystems at the present time is an effective trend of the future, which is increasingly spreading and developing into a new form of business. The ecosystem approach allows enterprises and organizations to move to a new form of cooperation - to provide customers with a package of services aimed at meeting their needs in full. At the center of the system is the customer and their interests and needs, which the companies are trying to meet. The introduction of the ecosystem approach fundamentally changes the approach to the principles of competition - now competition is built on a completely different level and can be carried out between business ecosystems, both in the external and internal environment. Digitalization effectively promotes the idea of business ecosystems and allows it to be fully implemented using digital platforms. Digitalization in Russia began to develop faster and more efficiently due to the coronavirus pandemic, which significantly accelerated the processes of interaction in the "entrepreneur - client" system. Digital technologies have made it possible to develop the ecosystem approach on a more substantial scale. In our opinion, an effective system of cooperation should be formed within the business ecosystem and a common pool of regular customers should be formed, which indicates the need for cooperation, not competition, both inside and outside the system.
