Budgetary security of the Ulyanovsk region in the realities of modern life

A specific feature of Russia's economic security is disproportion of regional development. The fiscal capacity gap between regions is adjusted via the mechanism of granting subsidies. At the same time, the level of independence of a region is related to a budgetary component of the region's economic stability. The authors analyze the budgetary security of the Ulyanovsk region based on their own collection of samples of risk indicators. The article also outlines key areas for improving the budgetary security of the region.
