The article analyzes the merciful and charitable activities of two Russian «Harbin» brother and sister - Sophia and Stanislav Krivilev - in Australia; their activities in organizing the cultural life of the Russian diaspora in Brisbane; in organizing the work of the Russian school and library at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Brisbane and the Church of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in Rocklea (QLD); their activities in creating the Center of Russian Culture Lotus Hall; attention was paid to life, study and the formation of their views during their life in Harbin; the reasons for their emigration to Australia and the process of adaptation to the new socio-cultural conditions of life in the new homeland are shown, as well as the role of the Russian Community Centre of Queensland, which they created.
