Improvement of city parks taking into account the opinion of communities (based on the materials of the Chekhov park, Perm)

The article discusses the role of reconstruction of the «green» zones of urban space, as well as the involvement of city residents in this process as part of the placemaking approach. Attention is paid to how important it is to take into account the opinion of citizens when changing the urban environment, in particular, the city park. The article is devoted to analysis of increasing the level of comfort and demand for one of the parks of regional significance in Perm, relying on the data of a sociological survey conducted as part of a comprehensive study of the park named after Chekhov. The main conclusions are made about the necessary changes to improve the park.
