The paper publishes two bronze bridle plaques discovered by excavating the Opushki cemetery in the Crimea Piedmont. Their dating falls within the end of the 6th-5th сenturies BC. The plaques fully fit the context of the artifacts made in the Scythian animal style. However, these plaques were found in unusual conditions, forming part of funerary offerings of Late Scythian burials dating to the second half of the 2nd century AD. It is a clear example of anachronism, i.e. secondary use of earlier made artifacts in the Scythian animal style.
