This article is devoted to the application of block-oriented models for the identification of dynamic objects. The classification of block-oriented models is described, the possibility, expediency and criteria for their application are described. Modeling of nonlinear models of the block-oriented class was performed using the Simulink tool of the MATLAB software package.
