Blockchain technology as a new way of Russian economic development

The article deals with the aspects of building the digital economy, which The President of Russia has called the priority vector in the development of Fatherland in his message to The Federal Assembly. We have considered the concept of "blockchain", its principles and prospects for implementing into the economic structure; described blockchain technology, which is becoming more popular, and its further development seems quite real. Blockchain technology can be considered in relation to the banking sector, since initially it was used only in the field of economy for interbank transfers, securities movements, etc. Also, this technology can be applied to address the problem of information reliability and confidentiality and improve the quality of medical services in the field of healthcare. Another range of use of blockchain technology may be the maintenance of registers, cadastres. It is possible to create blockchain citizenship. And, finally, the feasibility of creating blockchain government is being considered.
