The block system of planning of the special strength training of high-class wrestlers in the year cycle

The problem of using the block system of planning of the special strength training for highly skilled wrestlers of the Greek-Roman style is examined in the article. The training process with burdenings of intensive character (not less than two trainings in one microcycle) was carried out during one mesocycle in the precompetitive period of preparation for the basic year competitions. The size of strength loading intensity increased with each subsequent block taking into consideration increase of level of wrestlers' speedy-strength readiness. For example, if it wasn't supposed any strength loading of 90-100 % in the first block at all, but the use of strength loading should be during 3-4 trainings of the second block, and during 6-10 trainings of the third one.
