The Bologna process in the library and information education: results, problems, prospects

The article is devoted to the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Bologna Declaration and considers the results and problems of the Bologna process in the Russian library and information education. The reasons for the negative attitude to the Bologna process on the part of the professional community are named. The results of the integration of Russian library and information education in the Bologna system are highlighted. The questions about the achievement of the goal of the Bologna agreements and the effectiveness of the activities.Determined the feasibility of system solutions for the following positions: a sectoral approach to harmonization of the national educational system; the unity of the criteria and methodologies of integration; the digitalization of the “Bologna system”. The idea of the national educational Corporation of library and information education is put forward. Today's problems of academic mobility of students studying library science are analyzed. The issue of unity of understanding of the essence of the library profession is put forward in key positions. The tasks of creating a single digital knowledge space in the field of LIS are outlined, the models of formation of a single Russian-language educational content are proposed.
