The Bolshevskaya labor commune in documentary films (1925-1936)

The article contains a description of the film documents of the Russian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents (The RGAKFD) on the history of the Bolshevskaya labor commune, an industrial and educational base for offenders located in 1924-1939 on the territory of the morden city of Korolyov. The content of film documents is analyzed, visual sources are compared with text materials, documents are examined for authorship and circumstances of creation.
