Anti-religious struggle as a component of the Soviet political culture (1917-1930) (on the materials of Lower Volga)

The paper is devoted to understanding the anti-religious struggle as the component of the Soviet political culture within 1920-1930. The processes and results of antireligious campaigns on the Lower Volga, the attitude of communists, komsomol members, the intellectuals, workers and peasants towards them are considered. The political evaluation of religious organizations activity and clergy of this period was revealed.
