The article is written in connection with the 250th appearance of R. I. Boscovichs main work - of the «Theory of Natural Philosophy». The article tells about the meaning of Boscovichs ideals for the development of world natural science. The initial philosophers message was that: power is the basis of everything that exists. Historic - scientific background of the appearance of dynamic atomism is shortly outlined. R. I. Boscovich was the first who after I. Newton realized the problem of the substance in a philosophical way, and proposed a peculiar synthesis of Newtons and Leibnitzs views. The most important Boscovichs features of the atomic doctrine are represented. J. Priestley used the Boscovichs substance theory for the foundation of the theologically oriented materialism system.
