Marriage contract as a tool for preventing corporate conflicts in the event of divorce or death of one of the spouses

The article analyzes the role of the institution of a marriage contract in the context of the allocation of a share of one of the spouses in business assets held by the other spouse in the event of division of jointly acquired property or the death of one of them. The risks of conflicts between spouses or their heirs on issues of division of property are considered and options for reducing such risks by including relevant conditions in the marriage contract are presented.
