Rachytherapy of the cervical cancer with Ir-192

Radiotherapy is the principal treatment for cervical cancer both in this country and abroad and its improvement is therefore very important. The Radiodepartment of Medical Center «Medical city» started to apply a high-dose gamma-radiation with iridium-192 in 2016. Efficacy of associated radiotherapy for cervical cancer using radioacnive iridium-192 was assessed by tumor regression rate and on therapy radiation reactions.
