The article is devoted to the study of the issue of marriage relations involving minors in the Russian Federation. The historical analysis of the age of marriage and the conditions of marriage in Russia is carried out. The reasons for entering into marriage before the age of majority are considered. The documents required for submission to the Civil Registry office for the marriage of minors are systematized. A comparative analysis of the decline in the marriage age in the Russian Federation and abroad is carried out.
