Russian agricultural companies today face serious challenges in the field of branding. High competition and the policy of import substitution create a difficult situation in agriculture. For successful development, manufacturers need to actively use marketing tools and think through effective PR strategies. The goal is to increase brand awareness and attractiveness, gain the trust of customers and ensure their loyalty. The article examines in detail these relevant features and problems of branding in the Russian agro-industrial complex. It analyzes how companies have to fight for their niche in the market and what strategies help them stand out from competitors in order to succeed in the face of strong competition and the need to replace imported products. The conclusion is that in market conditions, agricultural producers need to implement a high-quality PR strategy in order to improve their brand image and gain consumer trust and loyalty.
