The article provides the information about the economic state of Kuzbass region. The author of the article analyzes the impact of the fall of coal prices in world to the decline in coal production in the world and in the Kuzbass included. The article also presents some technologies that can reduce the impact of the mining industry to the environment and the people life quality in surrounding cities.
