The relevance of the research topic is determined by the fact that in the conditions of instability of the Russian economy, companies need to conduct a deep analysis and make a reliable assessment not only of their current state, but also use the results obtained during the analysis and assessment for planning activities and future results. Analysis and evaluation of the efficiency of the company's economic activities are the basis for making any management decisions in the company, and its results are necessary for monitoring and evaluating decisionmaking results. Analysis and evaluation allow timely identification and elimination of weaknesses in economic activity, as well as find the internal reserves of the company in order to increase the efficiency of financial and economic activities. Analysis and evaluation are used by companies for forecasting and planning their activities. The purpose of this work is a comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of economic activity of a chemical industry company in modern conditions. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: - to study the theoretical foundations of a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of economic activity; - to consider the main ways to improve the efficiency of economic activities of chemical companies; - to follow the current conditions of activity of companies in the chemical industry in Russia; - to carry out a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the economic activities of companies producing mineral fertilizers; - to build a rating of chemical industry companies based on indicators for assessing their financial condition; - to get theoretical conclusions and practical recommendations.
