Bullying and Problems of Psychological Safety in Education

Introduction. Modern education in Russia have faced massive incidents of violence in the form of bullying and other forms of bullying of some people (students, teachers, parents, representatives of the administration, etc.) by others. The types and forms of violence in education are numerous: bullying and stalking in the form of prospecticide / gaslighting, withholding, psychological blackmail, and even columbine. The purpose of the study is to analyze bullying as a source of threats to the psychological safety of education. Materials, Results and Discussion. The search for solutions to the problems of violence and the safety of education draws attention to several main aspects of victimization of education: 1) organizational and methodological problems and violations; 2) interpersonal and 3) personal deformations. The relations of subordination, traditional for education, permeating modern education according to areas "student – teacher" and "teacher – administration" generate numerous risks of security breaches, reforms and innovations in education, and either mitigate this problem (active teaching methods, open pedagogy, practices of "inverted class", etc.), or aggravate it (managerialization, desacralization and commercialization of education, etc.). An important point in ensuring the psychological safety of education is the consistency of its goals and means, consideration of the development of a strategy for the correction and prevention of violence of common types of subjects of violence ("blackmailing", "sacrificing", "tempting") and scenarios of their activity. Anti-bullying practices in universities should address the correction and prevention of violations in the educational and professional activities of students and teachers, the creation of an optimal environment for their development in the university, family, society as a whole, including the transition from alienated-role dramatization of confrontations to relations of respectful sincerity and seeking consent. Conclusions. The systemic model of violations of the psychological safety of education involves the prevention and correction of psychological and related disorders in the development and functioning of individual subjects of education. It also includes the prevention and correction of destructive and ineffective relationships that develop between the subjects of education, hindering or blocking the development, training and education of individuals and their groups. It also means the prevention and correction of organizational disorders and the moral and psychological health of society as a whole. Consideration of all aspects and measures for the prevention and correction of bullying helps to successfully deal with the tasks of ensuring psychological safety of education.
