Buryat State University as a tool of educational policy of Russia in the East

The article analyzes the need for a fundamentally new model of university center of the federal level, focused on a comprehensive development of the human factor and the identification of mechanisms for implementation of economic ideas of the advanced countries of the Asian region. Formulated by the Russian government the problem of transition to a new technological structure can be implemented with the active participation of the Buryat State University in attracting scientific and technical personnel from the countries of Northeast Asia. The specificity of the region as a springboard Russia in the sphere of the economic international contacts with Asian countries predetermines mission of BSU as a conductor of Russia’s oriental policy in the Asian countries in the field of science and education, because situation in the early XXI century in the field of socioeconomic development of Siberia and Far East requires close attention to the system of higher education. The geopolitical interests of the Russian state greatly need this kind of research, covering the place of socioeconomic development of the Russian segment in the regional market of Inner Asia.
