Buryat language in the internet space: status and problems of functioning

The research is devoted to analyzing the functioning of the Buryat language in the Internet. The main attention is paid to technical and linguistic aspects of language functioning. For example, language layout on the keyboard, functioning of online dictionaries and online translators, analysis of sites and applications in the Buryat language, peculiarities of AI usage, etc. The study analyzes the functioning of the Buryat language on the Internet. Language cannot function outside the linguistic environment and social context, so the paper attempts to analyze the main trends in the development of the modern Buryat language in the context of its exploration of the Internet space. The study also considers the current situation of the Old Mongolian language in the Internet.
