The purpose of proof in the criminal process of the Russian Federation

The article raises the question of the purpose of proof in a modern adversarial criminal process. Various points of view regarding what to consider as the purpose of proof are considered. The author comes to the conclusion that the subjects of evidentiary activity should strive to achieve objective truth.
