Feasibility and efficiency of agricultural machinery maintenance

Timely and qualitative maintenance provides the greatest effect of the reliability and performance of machines. The main contradiction consists in clash of dates of their accomplishment: the more an operating time, the more transactions of maintenance it is necessary to execute. As a result, the machine operator is practically forced to eliminate only consequences of refusals during the intense periods of field works that leads to their increase, the performance of machines is reduced, and the operating costs are rising. In the emerging trend when the machine operator serves more than one machine, he is physically unable to perform all kinds of maintenance and repair. Therefore, it would be appropriate to transfer some part of these works to specialized enterprises. The problem of increasing of tractors’ reliability can be also solved due to deeper specialization and an intensification of the implementation of maintenance operations when they are transferred to unstressed periods of field works. The paper presents the structure and theoretically justified formation of technical services at the enterprises of agricultural and industrial complex. It considers the main advantages of the proposed system of technical service.
