Expediency of introduction of single currency within the Euroasian Economic Union

This article considers the expediency of establishment of a unified currency within the Eurasian Economic Union. Based on key macroeconomic indicators a statistical analysis of the stability of the economies of EAEU is presented, the advantages and disadvantages of the currency reform and also the possible risks are taken into account. Also we pay attention to the role of social factors in the effectiveness of currency unification.
