Objective function from optimization criteria with weight coefficients

The question is being discussed, if it is necessary to carry out optimization according to several criteria, it is necessary either to find the Pareto set, or to compose the objective function from the optimization criteria with weight coefficients for each criterion. In most cases, when optimizing the flow paths of centrifugal pumps, an expert assessment of the obtained Pareto set is sufficient, and this method is used in most of the examples of the application of the proposed calculation method given in the work.
