The article presents the supply chain of an enterprise in the gas industry and the business process model of PJSC Gazprom. A comparative characteristic of the traditional and logistics systems ofmanufacturing enterprises is carried out. The purpose of the logistics system is defined as the choice of the form of supply for an efficient production process in accordance with the needs of the market and considering the costs incurred.
