Objectives and methods of state regulation of innovative activity: Russian and foreign experience

In the article the analysis of the main support methods of innovative activity in countries with different models of scientific and technological development is introduced. The main directions for implementing of Russian regional innovative policy are emphasized. Rating of Russian innovative regions and also rating of the regions of Russian Central Federal District are produced. General criteria that contribute to innovative development are worked up.
