Goals, tasks and functions of electronic digital forensics

The article surveys the views of scientists on the goals, objectives and functions of doctrine dealing with forensic research and the use of electronic devices and electronic information. Based on a review the article formulates the author’s vision of the list of goals and objectives of electronic digital forensics, as well as the specifics of its cognitive, constructive and prognostic functions.
