Values and value orientations of modern teenagers: emphasis of transformations

The article examines the processes of transformation of the categories “value” and “value guidelines”; in the formation of value guidelines of modern adolescents, it is proposed to study in the system of values: intellectual-educational, moral-cultural, humanistic and family values. The category “value” and “value orientations” are the objects of research in various social and human sciences - psychology, pedagogy, cultural studies, sociology, philosophy, political science and others. On the one hand, values function as objective norms and regulators of social behavior, and on the other hand, they are subjective concepts of something desirable for an individual or group. Along with the eternal values of the ideal world, local values of “the value of one day”, “false values” that have no meaning, begin to appear.
